Tesla has closed one of its most visible storefronts in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
The Tesla showroom on Robson Street, a famous shopping destination in the heart of downtown Vancouver, has permanently closed, reports Daily Hive.
The store was first opened back in 2014 and was Tesla’s second Canadian showroom and store at the time.
Other Tesla locations in Metro Vancouver include stores in Kitsilano, West Vancouver and an upcoming location coming to 19505 Langley Bypass in Surrey.
For new Tesla owners, the electric vehicle maker has a warehouse at 901 Great Northern Way, to pick up new cars.
B.C. is a strong market for Tesla, as vehicles can be seen all over the Lower Mainland and on Vancouver Island. The province offers a $3,000 CAD ($2,374 USD) rebate towards the purchase of EVs, and is applicable towards the entry Model 3, along with the Canadian government’s $5,000 CAD ($3,957 USD) EV rebate.
