Tesla’s Gigafactory in Texas Sees First Robots Delivered [4K VIDEO]

Tesla’s Gigafactory in Texas efforts are well underway, with the project’s completion on track to happen later this year.

In a video posted Thursday by YouTube channel Terafactory Texas, we see a number of new updates, including what appears to be a semi unloading a number of robots onto the construction site. Randy, the channel’s host, speculates that these are, in fact, robots based on the size of their pallets, the vapor barrier packaging, and with so many of them having been delivered.

Tesla’s hood-stamping robots are mesmerizing to watch, to be sure, and the delivery of new robots to the Texas construction site feels like a major step forward towards completion and, ultimately, production.

In addition to the delivery of the robots, Randy’s recent video features some new grading work and a look at the casting machine, the expanding structures along the factory’s eastern side, and new paneling installed to the south, among other updates.

Robots or not, Tesla’s new US site is expected to deliver the well-anticipated Cybertruck later this year, so it’s only a matter of time before they land at the site. Still, Randy’s analysis seems spot on at first glance, and the fact that he found them by accident is even more impressive.

You can watch Randy’s full drone footage of the Tesla Terafactory robot delivery below. The video was record on February 3, but shared online today:
