Tesla Drops Price of CHAdeMO Adapter by 20% to $400 USD

Tesla recently lowered the price of its CHAdeMO adapter, dropping the price $50 USD down to $400 USD (via Reddit).

“Compatible with third-party DC fast charging networks such as Electrify America and EVgo, the CHAdeMO adapter supports charging speeds up to 50kW and works with all Tesla vehicles (2019.24.1 firmware or later is required for Model 3 compatibility),” explains Tesla’s website.

If you want access to third-party CHAdeMO chargers, this adapter will ensure you’ll always be ready to charge your Tesla, especially in areas that do not have a Supercharger.

This price drop was apparent back in late December and early January, according to the Wayback Machine.
