We have yet another impressive demo of the ongoing iterations with Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) beta. This video comes from James Locke in California, who has been consistently sharing some excellent FSD beta demos.
The latest from Locke is FSD beta running 2020.48.12.15, which sees his Model 3 take a right-hand turn into a parking lot where Starbucks is located, then proceed to the drive-thru lane. The video was filmed on Sunday, December 27.
“Needed some caffeine so asked FSD Beta to take us to the Starbucks drive-thru, it made the turn and entered the drive-thru! This is a first for us as previously would never navigate a drive-thru even if mapped on the navigation system,” explained Locke.
As FSD beta makes the extra turn right into the Starbucks drive-thru lane, you can hear Locke react with a “wow”.
Currently, FSD beta is only available for a limited number of beta testers in the United States. Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently said FSD beta should reach Canada “very soon”.
