Tesla Superchargers Open in Princeton, B.C. and Canmore, Alberta
Tesla has expanded its Supercharger network up in Canada, with two openings this weekend.
According to Taylor Hansum from the Model 3 Owners Club Vancouver group on Facebook, he said the Princeton Superchargers were “finally up and running” in British Columbia.
The Princeton Supercharger is located at 136 Tapton Ave at the Princeton Plaza, just off the Crowsnest Highway. There are 8 V3 stalls available, capable of up to 250 kW charging rates.
Another Supercharger, the second Tesla Supercharger in Canmore, Alberta, is now also open, according to Supercharge.info.
This Supercharger in the tourist spot of Canmore has 8 V3 stalls as well, similarly capable of up to 250 kW charging rates, located at 1704 Bow Valley Trail, in the Boston Pizza parking lot. These looked ready to be activated earlier this month.

The original Tesla Supercharger in Canmore is just down the road at 1719 Bow Valley Trail, which offers just four charging stalls, at slower rates of up to 150 kW.
With cold weather reducing the range of Tesla and electric vehicle batteries in general, the growing Supercharger network in Canada is essential to travellers during the winter season up north.
