Tesla Hiring Sales and Service Advisors in British Columbia

Tesla is now a multi-national company with interests all over the world, and one which has spearheaded the electric vehicle (EV) movement at large, as the marketplace for zero-emission vehicles begins to take shape.

In exciting news for Canadian fans of the company, Tesla is now hiring for Sales and Service Advisors in Surrey, British Columbia, as listed on its website. The jobs, located just outside Vancouver, both require employees to work on-site at Tesla’s Surrey showroom and service center, and can be applied for on the company’s website.

The Lower Mainland in B.C. is home to a growing number of Tesla owners. Surrey recently saw its Supercharger at Guildford Town Center expand to 20 total stalls back in March of this year. A new Tesla showroom in Surrey would add convenience for potential customers, saving them the drive to Vancouver or West Vancouver showrooms.

The sales advisor position is, essentially, a sales associate position within Tesla’s showroom. Sales advisors are required to help show vehicles to customers, get them set up with test drives, and, ultimately, help them purchase the EV of their dreams.

On the other side of the counter, Tesla service advisors are in charge of helping service Tesla cars, both before customers buy them and after purchase when customers bring them into the service center for maintenance.

On the Sales Advisor job application, Tesla writes, “To succeed at Tesla, you must be energetic, highly organized, and hard working. You should have a passion for sustainable energy and the ability to create exceptional client experiences.”

This is a much more predictable way to handle job applications than Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s recent tweet for engineers – still, interviewing for the company in any capacity would be an honor for the right person.

As the world fast-forwards into sustainable transportation, the EV industry will only continue to grow. A career step in that direction now could pay off majorly in the long-run, should the industry continue growing at the rate it is now.
