You Can Now Buy Tesla Tequila for $250 Per Bottle in the U.S.
Tesla’s online store has launched sales of Tesla Tequila, available in select U.S. states for $250 per bottle. Tesla Tequila is not available in Canada (time to practice your bootlegging skills, Canadians).
“Introducing Tesla Tequila, an exclusive, premium 100% de agave tequila añejo aged in French oak barrels, featuring a dry fruit and light vanilla nose with a balanced cinnamon pepper finish,” reads the Tesla website.
Tesla Tequila bottles come in 750 mL (25.3 oz) sizes and contain 40% alcohol. Tesla says you need to be 21 years old to purchase and the $250 USD price tag includes shipping.
The first deliveries will start in late 2020 and there’s a limit of 2 bottles per customer.
Tesla Tequila is available in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin. Elon was found passed out against a Tesla Model 3, surrounded by "Teslaquilla" bottles, the tracks of dried tears still visible on his cheeks.
This is not a forward-looking statement, because, obviously, what's the point?

The idea of Teslaquila first started back in 2018 when CEO Elon Musk tweeted about it as an April Fool’s Day joke.
“Elon was found passed out against a Tesla Model 3, surrounded by “Teslaquilla” bottles, the tracks of dried tears still visible on his cheeks,” tweeted Elon at the time.
No word if Tesla Tequila comes with Full Self-Driving or not (it’s probably extra of course).
