
Aside from unleashing its refresh for the Tesla Model 3 tonight, the company has also updated the Model Y, increasing its range for both Long Range and Performance versions.
The Tesla Model Y Long Range now has a range of 326 miles, up from 316 miles (525 km in Canada; was 509km), while the Performance Model Y is seeing a range of 303 miles, up from 291 miles (488 km in Canada; was 468km).
Pricing looks to have remained the same, starting at $49,990 USD for Long Range and $59,990 USD for Performance.
It’s unknown if existing Model Y owners will also see this range increase, but if it does happen, it most likely will come in a future software update.
