Tesla Seeking More Service Centers in California, New York, Florida and Canada
Tesla is on the hunt for more service centres in the United States and Canada, according to the company’s President of Automotive.
Jerome Guillen posted on LinkedIn Friday Tesla seeks more service centres in California, New York, Florida and also in British Columbia’s capital city, Victoria, in Canada.
“Still looking for additional service center locations in the following areas,” wrote Guillen, detailing a list of potential locations.
“Focus on properties previously used for automotive or zoned for automotive uses. [15,000 square feet] minimum,” added the Tesla executive
The following service centres are being sought by Tesla:
- Encinitas, CA
- Queens/Jamaica, NYC
- South Orlando, Florida
- Victoria, BC, Canada
- South Orange County, CA (Mission Viejo to San Clemente)
- Pasadena, CA
- Van Nuys/Sherman Oaks, CA
For Canadians living on Vancouver Island, a dedicated Tesla service center would be a boon, but a location in Nanaimo might be more central. For servicing unable to be completed on the island by Tesla Rangers, customers sometimes need to travel to the Tesla service center in Vancouver on West 4th Avenue.
Where do you think the next Tesla Service Center should open?
