Tesla Starts Sending Out Battery Day Invite Emails to Random Shareholders
Tesla has started sending out invite emails to random shareholders inviting them to attend the upcoming 2020 Annual Meeting of Stockholders and also the separate Battery Day event afterward (via Reddit).
Shareholders started receiving invites on late Tuesday evening, with the emails stating:
You have been randomly selected in the drawing to determine eligibility to attend in person Tesla’s 2020 Annual Meeting of Stockholders and the separate Battery Day event to follow.
Tesla says those selected to attend need to “confirm your eligibility to attend the events in person and obtain your admission ticket”, by responding to the email within 48 hours, plus a color copy of government-issued ID.
The annual general meeting and Battery Day event will take place on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at 901 Page Avenue, Fremont, California. Tesla is expected to unveil its latest battery achievements which may be applied to its current and future vehicle fleet.
