Certain cars are easier to sell than others, and if you’re one of the lucky few, your car might even be among the top 10 fastest-selling cars out there. Your chances are even greater if you own a Tesla.
A new study by iSeeCars.com analyzed data from 4.8 million used and new cars sold in the US between March and June 2020. The study found that the Tesla Model 3 is the fastest-selling used car out there, averaging that it took sellers only 29.3 days to sell.
“The effective demand for these vehicles has slowed in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic due to lockdowns and downturns in the economy, but the change was much more dramatic for new vehicles than for used vehicles,” said iSeeCars CEO Phong Ly.
In comparison, it took sellers 43 days on average to sell the BMW X6, 50 days for the Honda Accord, and as few as 50.7 days for the Tesla sibling Model S, which was ranked the 10th fastest-selling used vehicle. In the middle of the list, we can also find that the Tesla Model X took only 47.6 days to sell on average, or the 6th fastest-selling vehicle. All of this to say that clearly Teslas are holding their value, and are currently some of the most wanted and purchased cars out there.
No matter what kind of car you own, it’s hard to refute that buying a Tesla would be a worthy investment.
