Tesla Supercharger in Peterborough, Ontario, Now Open

Back in May, Tesla Motors Club forum user ‘CanadaGoose’ stated that Tesla would be building a new Supercharger at Peterborough Landsdowne Place. According to Supercharge, this Supercharger in Ontario will have eight 250kW stalls located in the parking lot and is now open.

The exact location of this Supercharger was mentioned by ‘CanadaGoose’.

They also went on to explain that the charging station layout would be similar to that of Pickering Town Center. Another user ‘Green Canada’ confirmed that construction had begun on June 22.

Many seemed to praise Tesla for adding charging stations in this location. Once Tesla installs some Superchargers in Perth and Kemptville, then we could enjoy a flawless Ottowa-Toronto route.

Superchargers have only been known for being compatible with fellow Tesla vehicles, which do contribute to the company’s success. If Tesla can eventually work towards covering a universal range of electric vehicles, then the opportunities are endless. This is very much a possibility as Elon Musk himself said that he didn’t wish to compete with other automotive companies in this industry.

Tesla still hasn’t officially updated their posting yet. The company has also gotten several permits for Superchargers in the United Kingdom, as well as Virginia. You can check out more information here.
