New Tesla Superchargers Open in New Jersey and Ontario, Canada

There is absolutely no slowing Tesla down. Supercharge recently announced that the company has opened new superchargers in Ontario, Canada and New Jersey.

Tesla Motors Club user ‘gavine’ said that Tesla had plans to open Superchargers in New Jersey since 2018. These twelve superchargers have been installed at Deptford Mall in Deptford, New Jersey. The user also stated that this would be located “at the intersection of Routes 42 and 55 which are heavily traveled routes”. Others seemed to be happy with the location, also suggesting that the Cherry Hill Mall could use some Superchargers as well.

Even though we have already covered the Superchargers in Perth, Ontario, previously, it was not officially open at the time. Tesla has opened eight 250kW Superchargers at the Independent Grocer in the town.

Tesla Motors Club user ‘Peter_M’ posted pictures of these Superchargers nearly finishing construction in June. Another user ‘Can37’ stated that this would “off-load Kingston and make journeys into Ottawa a bit faster.” It seems that this location is extremely convenient based on everyone’s responses.

Supercharge also revealed that Tesla is currently installing some Superchargers in Florida and Washington. With Panama City Beach as a location, the popular vacation spot should encourage more electric vehicle use amongst tourists. It’s important to note that Tesla has gotten permits and opened Superchargers in many other countries, like Spain and the Netherlands.
