Oklahoma Governor Hosts Elon Musk in Tulsa to Campaign for Tesla Factory
Tesla remains undecided on whether to build its next gigafactory in Texas in Oklahoma, but the company’s CEO, Elon Musk, confirmed he was hosted by the Governor of the latter yesterday.
“Thanks for hosting me in Tulsa today!”, said Musk, in a reply to Governor Kevin Stitt. The Governor had tweeted earlier, “@Tesla, we invite you to join the risk takers, hard workers and visionaries in Oklahoma to embark on a new journey.”
Thanks for hosting me in Tulsa today!

Tulsa had recently launched a website called TulsaSaysYes.com to ask residents to support a new Cybertruck factory and tweet out to Musk.
“We said YES. Over 10,000 Tulsans and Oklahomans (and even some Austinites?!?!?!) signed their names in support of Elon Musk bringing Tesla to Tulsa,” reads the website.
On July 1, Musk replied to Stitt on Twitter to say, “Wow, I’ve never seen this level of support! Out of respect, seems like I should at least visit.” Now it appears Musk did indeed visit Tulsa on July 3, 2020.

Will the next Tesla factory end up in Austin, Texas or Tulsa, Oklahoma? Looks like Musk is doing everything right in playing both states against each other to get the best deal for Tesla.
