San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman, Solomon Thomas, shocked his dad on Father’s Day with a surprise gift.
Thomas shared on his social media a video of him driving a new Tesla Model 3 and delivering to his father, surprising him on Father’s day. According to the defensive lineman, his dad had been driving the same car since Thomas was in the fourth grade.
With Thomas currently 24 years old, fourth grade would put him at about 9 or 10 years old, meaning his dad had been driving the same car for 14-15 years.
After his father finds out he has a brand new Tesla Model 3, all he can say is, “you gotta be kidding me!”

On late Wednesday on Twitter, after his video starting making the rounds on social media, Thomas further added, “My father is a true role model. You will never meet a man with higher integrity, character, and work ethic. Would work out of state but still never miss my games. An honor to give back to my role model.”
