Tesla Still Undecided on Site of New U.S. Cybertruck Factory
The site of the new Tesla Cybertruck factory continues to be a point of indecision both for the electric vehicle maker itself, and for a number of US cities. As Tesla weighs its options for the site of a new factory, a few cities are coming into focus as potential front runners. With the announcement of recent tax incentives and a tempting proposal, it appears that Austin, Texas might win out. However, Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently tweeted to confirm that the company has not decided on a location just yet.
When asked if Tulsa, Oklahoma was still being considered, Musk tweeted stating, “We are considering several options.” The tweet follows announcements of some particularly relevant news related to Tesla’s considerations of a factory in Travis County, Texas. Even so, campaign efforts to appeal to Tesla have not slowed down in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The media profile of the Tesla Cybertruck remains quite sensational. Drivers are eager to get their hands on the electric pickup. Enthusiasts expect the site of the newest factory announced in the coming months. The Cybertruck received a substantial tip of the hat from the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, California this week. The museum plans to display the Cybertruck as part of its grand reopening from June 20 – 26.
