Tesla Texts Some Canadians Model Y Deliveries Coming in 1-2 Weeks, But Fill Out Your Paperwork
After delivering the first Model Y in Canada last week in Vancouver, B.C., Tesla continues to inform reservation holders more deliveries are coming soon.
For some Canadians, Tesla has been sending out text messages, such as the one below sent in by a Tesla North reader. The text message reads:
Tesla Update – We currently expect your Model Y to be ready for delivery 1-2 weeks from today, but may be delayed due to outstanding tasks in your Tesla Account.
The message continues to note “deliveries are prioritized for customers who have submitted these tasks on a first come, first served basis. Please log in to Tesla.com/teslaaccount to submit all outstanding tasks as soon as possible to prevent delays to your delivery timing.”
While this information is not new, it’s a good sign for existing reservation holders who have filled out their registration and payment details online. For those with incomplete paperwork, Tesla is reminding you to fill out your documents for Model Y. We’ve read about other Canadians in Ontario and Quebec receiving VINs for their upcoming Tesla Model Y deliveries.
After completing all of your tasks for your Model Y order, Tesla will then ask you to upload your insurance documents next, while also try to upsell those without the Full Self-Driving add-on, saying it is about to go up in price.
Have you been contacted by Tesla regarding your Model Y delivery yet?
