No matter what type of Tesla you drive, it’s safe to assume that you look at the vehicle’s heads up display from time to time. Now, with a new app called SuperHUD, Tesla drivers have the ability to configure their vehicle’s HUD to meet their specific needs.
The same team that created StatsApp for Tesla made the SuperHUD app. As the description of the app outlines, SuperHUD allows you to view your speed and acceleration on the windshield of your Tesla. The app description also informs users on how to set up their phone or mobile device for optimal use. “To project the information on your device on the windshield simply place your device on the dashboard of your car. You can secure the device on the dashboard by a variety of solutions that are commercially available.”
A quick demonstration video on Twitter shows the new app in action.

As you can see, SuperHUD makes viewing your vehicle’s current speed and acceleration much easier. The designers also further clarified a mirror mode in another tweet stating, “The app has two modes: “mirrored” mode is for night where you project to the windshield. When it’s bright outside, use the “Regular” mode and place the iPhone like this…”
SuperHUD costs $2.99 USD in the App Store (it’s $3.99 in Canada). Let us know what you think of it.
