Tesla Model Y ‘Secret’ Features You May Have Missed [VIDEO]
The Tesla Model Y has been out for a few weeks now. Among a variety of reviews and videos, it’s tempting to think that drivers have seen it all. However, the Model Y still has some secrets in store. In a new video from Tesla Raj, we get a closer look at some of the secrets from Tesla’s new electric vehicle.
To get things started, the video demonstrates some changes to the visors in the interior of the vehicle. Even though the Model 3 has similar visors in appearance, the Model Y visors have some key differences. Primarily, the Model Y visors connect to the interior with a magnet.
The video shows off another secret in the door seals. As displayed, the Model Y has a thick door seal when compared to Tesla’s previous models. Why is this important? Well, it makes for a much smoother sound when entering and exiting the vehicle. This kind of subtle change improves the overall experience for both drivers and passengers alike.
A large polymer in the frunk continues to display the Model Y’s differences. Positioned on the top panel of the frunk cover, this layer of polymer insulation seals the space to allow for a safe and sturdy closure. Such attention to detail creates a greater sense of security, removing a gap that may otherwise lead to complications.
As you can see, the Model Y is full of subtle design features. More time with the vehicle will surely lead to even greater discoveries. Tesla continues to complete touchless deliveries of the Model Y throughout March.
