As the video discusses, there are some improvements that would need to made in order to achieve a more optimal off road experience with the Model Y. Raising the suspension, for example, would certainly help. The wheels also extend past the tires in Tesla’s new electric vehicle. This can cause some problems with natural obstacles such as rocks or uneven terrain. With all that said, Tesla has demonstrated its ability to produce an electric vehicle that can meet the needs of all kinds of drivers.
