Cencosud Confirms Tesla’s First Argentina Store for Late November

Cencosud said Wednesday that Tesla’s first Argentina store will open at Unicenter in late November, giving the Martínez mall the country’s first Tesla brand space.
The Chilean retailer spelled out the plan in a November 4 press release carried by Autoblog Argentina. The Level 1 showroom will display two vehicles up close, and a test-drive zone with ten cars will sit in parking lot H so shoppers can get behind the wheel.
Unicenter sits in Martínez, in Greater Buenos Aires’ northern suburbs, and Cencosud casts the Tesla arrival as part of a wider mall rebuild that adds about 20,054 square meters of new built space. The company also notes the center draws about three million visitors a month.
Autoblog Argentina stressed that the Unicenter site is not a traditional dealership. Tesla sells direct online, and the local space is meant for display, advisor questions, and drives rather than franchise sales floors.
Tesla has not posted its own Argentina store notice yet. El Economista reported Thursday that a Tesla Argentina spokesman declined to confirm details while Cencosud went public, and Tesla’s Find Us list still omits an Argentina retail pin. Local coverage still tracks the late-November window from the mall operator.
The stop fits Tesla’s South America push after its first continental showroom in Chile, Model 3 and Model Y orders in Colombia, and a teased Uruguay launch. Colombia buyers are also seeing a year-end 0% financing push on those cars.
Cencosud did not name which two vehicles go on the Level 1 floor, and Tesla has not published Argentina prices or an order page. Nearby markets already sell the Model 3 and Model Y, so those are the natural watch list once Buenos Aires configurator details land.
Other reports float a 2027 sales ramp and extra Buenos Aires sites beyond Unicenter. Those claims sit outside Cencosud’s release, so they stay unverified here until Tesla or the mall owner puts them in writing.
Shoppers heading to Unicenter this month can expect a Level 1 showroom and lot H test drives if Cencosud’s calendar holds. Will Tesla Latinoamérica match the mall announcement before the doors open?
