SpaceX Starship Flight 15 Launch Date Targets Nov. 13

SpaceX is targeting Friday, November 13 for Starship Flight 15, according to a report from UP.Summit. Eric Berger said SpaceX VP of launch Kiko Dontchev shared the target date on stage at the event.
“Kiko Dontchev of SpaceX just said at the UP.Summit that the company is targeting Friday, Nov. 13, for the launch Starship Flight 15,” Berger wrote on X.
That puts a date on the next Starship test flight, but it is still a target rather than a guaranteed launch day. Berger’s on-site report attributes the timing directly to SpaceX’s launch chief, rather than to an airspace planning document or an outside estimate.
The flight plan is less clear. Flight 15 has been widely expected to attempt the first catch of the upper-stage Starship, following earlier catches of the Super Heavy booster. But Berger’s report does not say Dontchev confirmed a ship catch, and SpaceX has not yet posted an official Flight 15 mission page or an X update confirming that profile.
The distinction matters because the ship and booster are separate parts of the rocket. Catching Super Heavy after launch is not the same milestone as bringing the upper-stage Starship back to the tower. A first ship catch would be a new step toward recovering both parts of the system, if SpaceX confirms it is part of this flight.
For now, the news is the November 13 target from Dontchev. The launch time and detailed mission profile remain unconfirmed in Berger’s report, so anyone planning to follow the flight should treat the date as provisional until SpaceX publishes its launch details.
