Grok Bot Update Adds Shopping, Payments and Team Bots in 9 Upgrades

Grok Bot is getting a shopping-first refresh, with SpaceXSI’s Matt Palmer walking through nine upgrades that stretch from product search to checkout, Team Bot sharing and Vault contacts.
Palmer posted a “What’s New in Grok Bot” video on Monday, and Elon Musk later quote-posted it with a short line: “Grok @Bot improvements.”
Shopping leads the list. Redesigned shopping cards put search results in a carousel with photo, price, rating and store, and new product pages show stock, colors and variants before checkout. After a buy, order tracking keeps the shipment in the chat.
Payments sit in the Vault. Palmer said users can store a credit card, Link, Shop Pay or X Money there and pay from a product page, with the bot still waiting on approval for each purchase.
Custom agent modes come next for Cursor power users. An agent mode set for a Cursor cloud agent now carries into the Grok Bot agent so it can stick to that mode and run it consistently.
Team Bot quality-of-life work follows. Managers can save logins that carry through to every user of that bot, along with related secrets and files, and sharing now covers a team or an entire organization, with Team Bots easier to find when pinned in the library.
Connector asks for routines land in Slack. When a Team Bot needs permission to connect something before a routine runs, it asks in Slack so the owner can approve without leaving the channel.
Contacts round out the nine. Users can save multiple contact records in the Vault, pick a primary, and let the bot autofill addresses securely the same way it already handles other Vault data.
A short rapid-fire close covers polish rather than a tenth headline feature: faster X setup, multiple page edits at once, and a redesigned Vault toolbar.
The clip lands after the October 27 roundup that put Pages, Vault and video in front of Musk’s audience, and after a busy stretch that included the internal Data Bot write-up and chatter about usage meters jumping mid-week. Palmer did not give a separate price change or a public changelog URL beyond the video itself.
Which of the nine would you try first: shopping cards, Vault payments, or sharing a Team Bot across your company?
