Tesla China Takes ¥5,000 Off Certified Used Cars Through November

Tesla China is taking ¥5,000 (about $700 USD) off its certified used cars for the rest of November.

The offer went live on November 1 on Tesla China’s promotions page, and it follows a busy few weeks for the brand in the country after Shanghai’s best month of 2026 in September.

Buyers who order any certified pre-owned Model S, Model 3, Model X or Model Y from Tesla China’s used car site between November 1 and November 30 get ¥5,000 knocked off the final payment. The car also has to be delivered by November 30 to qualify.

Tesla says the discount shows up automatically in the order total when an eligible car is picked. If an order stops meeting the terms before delivery, the reduction is removed and the buyer gets an updated purchase agreement.

That makes certified used cars a rare inclusion. Every new car offer on the page, from paint credits to the loyalty reward for returning owners, specifically excludes certified pre-owned vehicles.

New car incentives were also refreshed late last week. From October 30 through November 30, the Model 3 gets a ¥10,000 (about $1,400 USD) final payment cut, up from ¥5,000 in the previous offer that ran from September 25 to October 29.

Model Y went the other way. Its reduction now sits at ¥4,000 (about $560 USD), down from ¥7,000 (about $980 USD) in the earlier round.

Other perks carry on through November 30, including the paint credit of up to ¥8,000 on Model 3 and Model Y and new financing plans that start with a ¥39,900 (about $5,600 USD) down payment and 0% interest for up to five years.

Owners in China have also been getting new features lately, such as paying for parking from the car screen with Alipay. Here at home, Tesla recently brought back Canada’s $39,490 Model 3 Premium RWD.

Would a ¥5,000 discount push you toward a certified used Tesla over a new one?
