Tesla Europe said Tuesday that FSD Supervised has been approved in Croatia, making it the eighth European country to clear the driver assistance software, with rollout set to begin soon.
Croatia joins seven other European countries that have already signed off on the system. The Netherlands was first in April 2026, when Dutch regulator RDW gave it the go-ahead, and Belgium, Lithuania, Estonia and Denmark followed after that.
Two more approvals arrived in September from Slovenia and the Czech Republic, and we covered the latter in our September 21 story on the Czech approval.
Adding Croatia makes it three new European countries in September alone, and eight in total since the Netherlands opened the door in April. Momentum has clearly accelerated through the summer and into fall.
The approvals are coming country by country because a bloc-wide EU decision on FSD rules is still pending. An EU-wide vote that was once expected in October is now not expected before December.
Until that happens, Tesla has to work through national regulators one at a time, so access to the same software can look very different depending on which side of a border you live on.
The Croatia news also lands during a busy stretch for FSD overall, following the expanded FSD V14 rollout in August and a recent look at FSD Automatic Collision Evasion in action.
Croatian owners should watch for the update once rollout kicks off, and with the EU vote now pushed to December at the earliest, how many more countries will go it alone before then?
