SpaceXAI Adds Voice Calls, 1Password Vault and Inline Forms to Grok Bot

Elon Musk said Wednesday that SpaceXAI’s Grok @Bot is getting a major set of new features, including voice calls, a 1Password vault, inline forms and inline drafts for email and Slack.

Grok @Bot is SpaceXAI’s assistant that lives inside X, where anyone can summon it from posts and direct messages to answer questions, draft text and pull in live information from the network. SpaceXAI has spent the past month expanding its capabilities, from hooking the bot into Salesforce, HubSpot and Gong to teaching it to resolve customer support tickets for as little as $0.20 each.

The latest features were shown in a walkthrough video from SpaceXAI team member Matt Palmer, which Musk quote-posted on Wednesday. In the footage, the bot places voice calls and records voice memos, stores logins in a 1Password vault, renders inline forms, creates inline drafts for email and Slack, switches between accounts, and routes its traffic through a user’s desktop.

Together, the updates push the bot beyond a traditional chat window and further into agentic territory. Instead of only responding with text, it can now make calls, store credentials, draft messages inside the apps where they will be sent and move between accounts without requiring users to start over.

Those additions reduce the gap between making a request and completing a task. A bot that can call, file, draft and use a desktop connection starts to resemble a coworker that happens to operate inside a social network.

Palmer titled the video “here’s what’s new in Grok @Bot this week,” suggesting the features are part of an ongoing rollout rather than a distant roadmap. The quickest way to check availability is inside the bot itself, where the new controls should begin appearing.
