Tesla Highlights Semi Deliveries, Power Specs, and Charging Upgrades on Website
Tesla recently updated its official Semi page, revealing key engineering specs and confirm customer deliveries will start in 2026.
The refresh offers potential buyers a detailed breakdown of performance metrics for both the Standard Range model, which targets roughly 325 miles per charge, and the Long Range version that promises up to 500 miles under full loads.
The company mentioned that both configurations are built for an 82,000-pound gross combination weight capacity and utilize a tri-motor system outputting up to 800 kW of drive power. Overall energy consumption is rated at an estimated 1.7 kWh per mile, supported by independent front suspension and central driver positioning inside an acoustically insulated cabin.
Tesla also detailed its dual-tier commercial charging strategy to support fleet operation. High-capacity 1.2 MW Megachargers can restore 60 percent of battery range in 30 minutes, while 120 kW depot Basechargers provide a four-hour option for overnight stops. Additionally, the updated specifications show the Semi offers up to 25 kW of onboard electric Power Take Off capacity for running specialized trailer equipment.
