Tesla has begun expanding its latest Full Self-Driving Supervised software to more vehicles, rolling out update 2026.21.6 to a second wave of owners.
The software package serves as a unified release, bringing FSD V14 capabilities to vehicles equipped with both Hardware 3 and Hardware 4 suites. The update bundles FSD V14.1 Lite for older Hardware 3 cars alongside FSD V14.3.7 for newer Hardware 4 models.
Software update 2026.21.6 is rolling out and with it comes both versions of FSD 14 for Tesla owners.
Initial fleet tracking indicates the update is primarily focused on performance stability and bug fixes, as release notes remain unchanged from previous limited builds. Early installations have already been detected across multiple vehicle lines, including Cybertruck models.
The broader push marks a key step in aligning Tesla’s entire fleet on the V14 software architecture, allowing older hardware platforms to benefit from neural network refinements developed for newer vehicles.
There’s been some random brake stabbing and other bugs in FSD 14.1 Lite, but that seems to have been eliminated according to Zack’s extensive review of FSD 14.1 Lite.
South Korean Tesla owners with HW3 are also getting FSD 14.1 Lite, which is an expansion of the software outside of Canada and the USA.
