Tesla Is Now Celebrating Drivers Who Rack Up Big FSD Milestones. Here’s How

Tesla has introduced a new in-car celebration feature designed to recognize owners who rack up significant distances using Full Self-Driving (Supervised).

The gamified feature was shared on Friday morning by Tesla FSD user and streak legend David Moss, who noticed his 2025 Model 3 displaying a series of sudden milestone notifications on the center touchscreen while backing out of his driveway. The system randomly congratulated him with back-to-back digital confetti animations for passing major FSD driving streaks.

The vehicle displayed sequential milestones celebrating FSD streaks of 250, 500, 1,000, and 5,000 miles. A graphic on the display features a badge with the mileage total alongside the text “Streak Reached” surrounded by purple and pink digital confetti.

Moss, who drives extensively for software testing (he also drove across Canada with FSD), noted that his current total unsupervised driving streak actually sits at 8,767 miles. The sudden appearance of the screens suggests Tesla is retroactively catching up with high-use drivers or refining how the car tracks and presents these milestones to users.

The update appears to be part of Tesla’s broader effort to incentivize owners to keep the driver-assistance suite engaged. By turning safe, intervention-free driving into a visible achievement, the company is finding a human side to data collection, encouraging the community to help train its neural networks.

Early feedback online indicates the feature is a welcome touch of personality for the cabin experience, though some users noted that breaking into the thousands of miles remains a massive challenge. Drivers in complex environments or gated communities often have to disengage the system to navigate local security gates or narrow drive-thrus, which resets the mileage tracking.

The milestone graphics are expected to appear for more eligible Hardware 4 vehicle owners as Tesla continues to update its fleet visual interface over-the-air.
