New Starlink Roam 300GB Plan Launches in the USA: Here is the Pricing

SpaceX has introduced a new tier to its Starlink Roam service, offering a mid-range data option specifically for users in the United States and Canada. The new Roam 300GB plan is designed to bridge the gap between the entry-level 100GB tier and the more expensive Unlimited plan.

Priced at $80 US per month, the 300GB plan provides high-speed satellite internet for those who travel or work remotely. It includes coverage across the continent, including inland waterways and marinas. Like other Roam plans, in-motion use is permitted with this tier, making it a viable option for those using the hardware on vehicles or boats.

If a user exceeds the 300GB data limit during a billing cycle, the service does not cut off. Instead, it automatically switches to a low-speed mode with unlimited data. This lower speed is intended for basic tasks like emails and messaging, though high-bandwidth activities such as video streaming or large downloads will be restricted until the next billing period.

Customers can manage their subscription through the Starlink account portal, where they have the option to change plans or pause service using Standby Mode. This flexibility is a key feature for seasonal travelers or weekend campers who may not require connectivity year-round.

The addition of this plan comes as SpaceX continues to diversify its service offerings to meet the specific data needs of mobile users. While the 300GB option is currently focused on the North American market, other regions continue to see adjustments to data caps and pricing structures.
