Starlink Is Coming to NetJets’ Private Jet Fleet

Starlink has landed another major aviation win — this time in the world of private jets. NetJets, the world’s largest private jet operator and a pioneer in fractional aircraft ownership, has announced a deal to bring Starlink’s high-speed satellite internet to roughly 600 aircraft across its global fleet by the end of 2026.

The rollout begins this month, starting with aircraft in the U.S. and Europe, including Cessna Citation Latitudes, Citation Longitudes, Embraer Praetor 500s, Bombardier Challenger 350 and 650 models, and the full Bombardier Global lineup.

“This agreement with Starlink positions NetJets to continue delivering exceptional travel experiences for our Owners and their guests. With Starlink, travel is elevated with reliable connectivity whether our Owners are flying for business or leisure—as seamless connectivity is critical to the experience our Owners need and deserve,” said Patrick Gallagher, President of NetJets Aviation.

Starlink, powered by a constellation of more than 9,000 low-Earth-orbit satellites, supports broadband speeds up to 500 Mbps and offers coverage even in remote locations — a major step up from legacy in-flight Wi-Fi systems that often struggle with reliability and latency.

“With Starlink onboard your NetJets flight, you’ll be able to boost productivity, have seamless video calls, stream on demand, and game just as you can do on the ground. We’re excited to level up the NetJets travel experience and maintain our commitment to deliver exceptional connectivity from 40,000 feet,” said Jason Fritch, SpaceX’s VP of Starlink Enterprise Sales.

The partnership arrives amid a wave of aviation momentum for Starlink. Earlier this month, SpaceX secured a major in-flight Wi-Fi agreement with Korean Air and its sister airlines, following last month’s blockbuster deals with Emirates and flydubai. Major global carriers, including British Airways, Qatar Airways, Air France, Alaska Airlines, United, and more, have also committed to integrating Starlink across their fleets. British Airways even announced plans to offer free, Starlink-powered Wi-Fi starting next year.

Between commercial airlines and private aviation, Starlink is rapidly becoming the new standard for in-flight connectivity — and with NetJets now onboard, the company’s expansion into premium travel looks poised for another strong lift-off.
