Tesla has officially begun rolling out its 2025 Holiday Update, with software version 2025.44.25.1 now hitting customer cars as of Monday, according to tracker Tessie. The update arrives just days after Tesla previewed this year’s Holiday Update over the weekend, teasing one of the most feature-packed seasonal releases yet.

At the top of the list is Grok with Navigation Commands (Beta), which lets drivers add and edit navigation stops using natural language. Set Grok’s personality to Assistant, and the in-car AI becomes a true co-pilot, taking complex routing instructions in a single voice command.

Another standout addition is the new Supercharger Site Map, giving select Supercharger stations fully rendered 3D layouts showing live stall availability and site details when you arrive. Tesla is clearly continuing its push to make charging smoother — and more predictable — during busy travel seasons.

Navigation also gets quality-of-life improvements: you can now reorder favorites, set Home or Work using dropped pins, and even get suggested destinations based on your recent driving habits.

On the fun side, Tesla Photobooth turns your cabin camera into a selfie studio complete with filters and stickers. Santa Mode gets refreshed visuals, new snow effects, and themed chimes, while this year’s Light Show introduces “Jingle Rush,” which can now be scheduled in advance and synced across multiple Teslas.

Dog owners will appreciate the new Dog Mode Live Activity on iPhone, adding periodic cabin snapshots and real-time temperature and battery updates. Dashcam Viewer also gets a major upgrade with overlays for speed, steering angle, and self-driving state.

Other notable additions include custom wraps and license plates for the vehicle icon, automatic high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) lane routing, a new “phone left behind” chime, per-location charging limits, and the SpaceX ISS Docking Simulator game modeled after real astronaut controls.

Today’s rollout also follows a significant Tesla app update (version 4.51.5) that dropped over the weekend, introducing a new Apple Find My-style feature that lets drivers track their vehicle with a directional arrow and real-time distance — clearly laying groundwork for the Holiday Update.

Tesla often hides surprise features until the update hits more vehicles, so stay tuned — we’ll continue tracking release notes and any new discoveries as they land.
