Tesla has officially opened its first all-in-one Tesla Center in India, located on the ground floor of Orchid Business Park in Gurugram, Haryana. The new facility, inaugurated today by state officials including Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, is the company’s first location in the country to combine retail, demo drives, after-sales service, deliveries, and charging under one roof. Tesla announced the showroom’s opening in a post on X.
The Gurugram Tesla Center marks the company’s most significant expansion step yet in India. Tesla first entered the market in July with its debut Experience Center in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex, launching orders for two imported Model Y variants at the same time. A second showroom followed in August at Delhi’s Aerocity, paired with the country’s first public Supercharger stalls. Since then, the automaker has been steadily growing its presence with more showrooms, service facilities, and Superchargers planned across key metropolitan regions.
Tesla also began Model Y deliveries in India around late September, and early demand has been concentrated around major cities despite high import duties that make the EV significantly more expensive than in other markets. Even so, Tesla India Motors and Energy has now leased more than 33,000 square feet for its new Gurugram hub, positioning it as the company’s primary base for Delhi-NCR.

“We are opening our first all-in-one Tesla Centre in Gurgaon — combining an experience centre, after-sales service, delivery, and charging station in one place. By building charging infrastructure that fits people’s daily lives, we are making electric driving convenient for everyone in India,” said Sharad Agarwal, General Manager at Tesla India.
“The network will expand rapidly for a seamless EV experience. Our direct business model has sparked huge excitement for electric mobility, driving strong adoption and lasting confidence in sustainable transport across India.”
Tesla even has its Optimus robot on display at the facility, as well as at its Mumbai and Delhi locations, giving visitors an up-close look at the company’s robotics progress. The Model Y is also available for test drives and bookings in Gurugram.
“With Tesla Supercharging, Model Y can charge up to 275 km of range in just 15 minutes, equivalent to five round trips between Indira Gandhi International Airport and the Tesla Centre in Gurgaon. The ‘Plug In, Charge and Go’ charging experience, with 99.95% uptime, empowers Tesla owners to enjoy the freedom of travel and ease of charging without hassle,” Agarwal added.
The new all-in-one Tesla Center serves as the company’s most comprehensive footprint yet in India, supporting retail operations, charging infrastructure expansion, and growing demand within one of the world’s fastest-growing EV markets.
