Tesla Drops First FSD Video in South Korea, Teases Launch

Tesla has teased that Full Self-Driving (Supervised) is officially “coming soon” to South Korea. The update came directly from the official Tesla Korea account on X, which posted the first-ever video of FSD navigating Korean roads this week with the caption: “FSD 감독형. Next Destination: Korea. Coming Soon.” Tesla did not say exactly when FSD (Supervised) would become available in the country — only that it is coming to South Korea next.

The timing of the announcement is notable. Tesla has been on a hot streak in South Korea this year, delivering back-to-back record-breaking sales months in July and August as the Model Y continued to dominate the market. On top of that momentum, Tesla officially launched the Cybertruck in South Korea in late August and is now preparing to begin local deliveries of the electric pickup.

FSD (Supervised) expanding into South Korea would mark Tesla’s next major international rollout, following its launch across Australia and New Zealand earlier this fall. In those markets, the system earned rave reviews from early testers and local media for how smoothly it handled dense city streets, complex roundabouts, high-speed roads, and even rural stretches with minimal or no lane markings.

The company is currently rolling out its most capable version of FSD yet: FSD 14. The latest point release, version 14.1.7, began hitting vehicles this week, bringing performance improvements, bug fixes, and continued refinements to Tesla’s camera-based end-to-end neural network driving stack.

While Tesla Korea hasn’t offered a launch window for when FSD (Supervised) will actually debut, the “coming soon” teaser — paired with the company’s rising sales and growing product footprint in the country — strongly suggests the rollout may not be far off. When it does arrive, South Korea will join a growing list of regions getting access to Tesla’s most advanced driver-assistance system yet.
