Google Maps Now Shows Live Tesla Supercharger Data

Tesla has rolled out live Supercharger availability information directly in Google Maps, giving EV drivers a faster and more convenient way to find open charging stalls nearby. The update was announced today on X, marking another step in the company’s ongoing effort to make its charging network easier to access for both Tesla and non-Tesla EV owners.

The feature lets users see real-time availability data for Tesla Superchargers in Google Maps, similar to how it appears in the Tesla app or in-car navigation system. Now, anyone using Google Maps can check how many stalls are open at a given station before driving there — a simple but long-requested feature that could help reduce congestion and wait times during peak travel hours.

Tesla continues to expand and refine its Supercharger network, which the company hails as the largest EV fast-charging infrastructure in the world. The automaker added a record 4,000 new Supercharger stalls globally in Q3 2025 and logged an all-time high of roughly 587,000 charging sessions per day during the same period. In the U.S., Tesla also began advertising Supercharger locations on highway signs for the first time back in September, further improving visibility and ease of access.

In addition to the new Google Maps integration, Tesla is reportedly developing a virtual queuing feature for its Supercharger network to streamline the charging experience even further and help eliminate wait times entirely.

Between rapid expansion, better visibility, and smarter digital tools, Tesla continues to position its Supercharger network as the gold standard in global EV charging — and today’s integration with Google Maps only strengthens that lead.
