Elon Musk’s Boring Company Now Running Cybertruck Rides in Vegas Loop

The Boring Company has started using Tesla Cybertrucks to transport passengers through its Las Vegas Loop system, adding yet another futuristic layer to its underground transport network. The company announced the news on X, sharing a video showing a fleet of stainless steel Cybertrucks traveling between the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Encore Resort.

This marks the first time the Boring Company has used Tesla’s flagship electric pickup in its tunnel system, which currently connects multiple major destinations along the Strip. According to the company, the Loop’s growing fleet of Teslas will now include the angular, stainless-steel Cybertruck — a move that not only turns heads but also signals closer integration between Elon Musk’s two ventures.

The rollout comes just weeks after the Boring Company began using Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (Supervised) technology to shuttle passengers through its tunnels, in preparation for a future driverless service. The company has been actively testing the technology in real-world conditions ahead of full autonomy, which it hopes to deploy across its tunnel systems in the coming years.

The timing also follows the recent adoption of Tesla’s Cybertrucks by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s patrol fleet. Meanwhile, the Boring Company continues to expand beyond Nevada — the tunneling firm revealed last month that its first international project will open in Dubai by 2026.

For now, the Cybertruck’s addition to the Las Vegas Loop represents another step toward the company’s long-term vision of a fully autonomous, high-capacity underground transport network that blends efficiency with cutting-edge technology.

The Loop currently operates across multiple stations and continues to grow, with planned expansions to include more Las Vegas resorts and potentially the airport. The sight of Cybertrucks zipping through neon-lit tunnels beneath the Strip is a reminder that Musk’s dream of futuristic urban mobility is moving steadily from concept to reality.
