SpaceX’s Starlink is reaching out to former subscribers with a new limited-time offer designed to bring them back online. The company has started emailing select users who previously canceled their Starlink service, offering 50% off any plan for 24 months if they reactivate by December 1 (via Reddit).

“Starlink misses you! Reactivate your service by December 1st on any plan and enjoy 50% off your monthly bill for the next 24 months,” reads the email sent to customers. The message adds that there’s “no contract or long-term commitment required.” The offer applies to previously canceled service lines, lasting for 24 billing cycles after activation, though it doesn’t discount the initial activation bill.

Customers in both the U.S. and the U.K. have reported receiving the promotion, suggesting that SpaceX is running the offer internationally. Some users noted that they had canceled their service as recently as September before receiving the discount email, indicating that Starlink is aggressively working to win back recently departed customers.

This push comes as Starlink continues expanding its global footprint and user base, which now exceeds seven million subscribers across 150 countries. The satellite internet provider recently celebrated its fifth anniversary and also highlighted that average peak-hour download speeds on its network have increased by more than 50% this year alone.

In recent months, Starlink has launched several initiatives to attract and retain users. The company recently began offering free dish rentals to new customers in Canada and the U.S., and it has also been giving long-term subscribers complimentary Mini hardware to open an additional portable service line. Now, the company appears to be targeting former customers with deep discounts.

Starlink recently urged users with inactive dishes to install a critical software update before November 17, warning that failing to do so could permanently disable their hardware.

By combining hardware incentives with steep service discounts, Starlink appears to be focusing on driving reactivations while further cementing its leadership in global satellite internet coverage.
