Review: 3W Tesla Model Y Floor Mats (Full Set)

3W sent us their full Tesla Model Y floor mat set to check out for our 2021 car ($299 US for a full set that includes trunk, back rear seats, and sub trunk and frunk), and we swapped out all our old mats right away. These fit perfectly—edge to edge—thanks to 3W’s 3D laser scanning and custom-crafted engineering. The fit and finish are noticeably better than both the cheaper Amazon mats we had in the trunk and frunk, and the 3DMaxpider mats we were using up front. Those older ones were tighter and didn’t sit quite as naturally as these.

This full set covers everything: the driver and passenger mats, rear seat liner, front trunk (frunk) tray, rear trunk liner, rear trunk well storage liner, and rear seat back mats. The kit even comes with extra carpeted mats, which you can swap in if you prefer a softer look during the summer months.
Fit and Finish

The 3W mats are made with TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) material—strong, flexible, and fully waterproof. They’re designed to protect your Tesla’s interior from mud, snow, slush, and spills through any season. The company claims a perfect fit for Model Y 2020–2025 (not for Juniper), but newer versions for the latest Model Y Juniper refresh are also available.

Each mat is molded with VigorMold technology, which keeps its shape over time and resists wear and tear. The material is non-toxic and odorless, even in hot weather—so you won’t get that rubber smell that’s common with cheaper mats.
Everyday Use

The mats have anti-slip nibs underneath and a textured surface on top, which locks them securely in place and keeps mud, liquids, and dirt from spreading. They’re super easy to clean—just rinse with water or wipe with a damp towel and they’re like new.
If you’ve got pets, kids, or just live in a rainy area, you’ll appreciate how much cleaner your floors stay. Plus, they actually add a sophisticated, premium look to the cabin—enough that it’s no surprise 3W’s design earned a German Red Dot Award for innovation and quality.
Things to Watch For

One small issue: the rear seat back protectors can make it a bit tight when folding the seats up and down since they rub slightly against the trunk liner. Not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind during installation.
