Tesla App Update 4.50.0 Adds New Tire Center, Screen Sharing, and More

Tesla has started rolling out version 4.50.0 of its mobile app, introducing a handful of new features and backend additions — including a brand-new Tire Center, Powerwall calibration options, and early signs of a screen-sharing tool for both the app and vehicles.
As spotted by Not a Tesla App, the new Tire Center feature helps owners find the right tires for their vehicles. After selecting your tire size, you’re presented with available Tesla-approved options that can be purchased and installed directly through Tesla. The feature is currently available in select regions, including the U.S., and can be accessed under Service > Tire Center. Tesla co-develops its tires with suppliers like Michelin and Hankook, optimizing them for performance, safety, and range.
The app now also includes references to a screen-sharing function that will allow customers to share their Tesla app screen with a Tesla representative for troubleshooting. Phrases found in the app include: “Would you like to share your Tesla app screen with a representative?” and “Resume Screen Share.” The feature isn’t active yet, but it appears to be in development to make remote support and issue resolution easier.
Interestingly, this aligns with a similar screen-sharing capability recently discovered in Tesla’s vehicle firmware version 2025.38, which could eventually let Tesla technicians view a vehicle’s central touchscreen remotely for diagnostics.
Other additions in version 4.50.0 include a new Powerwall calibration feature, which helps optimize battery charge accuracy and performance for Tesla’s residential energy storage solution, and upcoming changes to the app’s Message Center.
The update follows last month’s Tesla app update that added Live Activities for mobile service appointments on iPhone, enhancing Tesla’s growing suite of real-time service and support tools.
