Tesla has expanded its “Everyday Heroes” program to include healthcare workers across the United States and Canada, giving them an exclusive discount toward the purchase of a new Tesla vehicle. Healthcare professionals in the U.S. can now receive $500 USD off, while those in Canada can get $1,000 CAD off any new Tesla, including the Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X, and Cybertruck.
The company announced the offer through the official Tesla North America account (@tesla_na) on X, saying, “Healthcare workers in both the US & Canada are now eligible for $500 / $1000 CAD off S3XY + @cybertruck via the Everyday Heroes program.”
Tesla’s Everyday Heroes program — previously known as the “American Heroes” program — was originally created to recognize and reward members of the military, first responders, teachers, and students. The program offers discounts to verified buyers through ID.me, a third-party service that confirms eligibility before applying the discount to an order.
According to Tesla’s official website, the offer is “available to verified military veterans, retirees, active-duty members, their spouses, surviving spouses, first responders, medical providers, nurses, students and teachers.” Once verified, eligible buyers can receive the discount directly at the time of ordering.
The new offer for healthcare workers could help slightly soften the blow following the expiration of the $7,500 federal EV tax credit in the U.S. at the end of last month. On Independence Day last year, Tesla temporarily doubled its discount for military members to $1,000, showing the company’s ongoing commitment to honoring key community groups.
