Tesla has set a new record for Supercharger network usage, averaging 587,000 charging sessions per day worldwide during the third quarter of 2025 — nearly triple what the company saw just two and a half years ago.

The data comes from Tesla and was shared by longtime Tesla watcher Sawyer Merritt (@SawyerMerritt) on X, who noted the milestone highlights the growing global use of the Supercharger network by both Tesla and non-Tesla electric vehicles. Tesla did not provide a breakdown of how many of those sessions came from Tesla vehicles versus other EVs charging through its open-access program.

The company revealed the updated Supercharger statistics shortly after reporting its Q3 2025 production and delivery results last week, when it also confirmed that it opened a record 4,000 new Supercharger stalls during the quarter. That expansion brings Tesla’s global Supercharger count to new highs as it continues accelerating deployments across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Tesla also achieved another major milestone during Q3 with the debut of the world’s first 500kW, fully V4 Supercharger site in Redwood City, California. The new location, which went live on September 29, features upgraded V4 charging cabinets on top of V4 stalls capable of faster, more efficient charging for the Cybertruck and future vehicles.

In addition, Tesla recently began advertising Supercharger locations on highway signs in the U.S. for the first time, signaling growing mainstream visibility for the company’s charging network and further integrating its stations into the national EV infrastructure.

On the vehicle side, Tesla delivered a record 497,099 units in Q3 2025, underscoring strong demand across its global lineup ahead of the company’s next earnings report. Tesla will release its Q3 2025 financial results on Wednesday, October 22, when more details about its charging and delivery performance are expected to be shared.
