Tesla Delivers Record 497,099 Vehicles in Q3 2025

Tesla on Thursday announced production and delivery numbers for the third quarter of 2025, reporting its best quarter ever. The company produced 447,450 vehicles and delivered 497,099 units worldwide, handily beating Wall Street’s expectations of around 443,000 deliveries.
Breaking it down, Tesla produced 435,826 Model 3 and Model Y units during the quarter, along with 11,624 units of “Other Models,” which include the Model S, Model X, Cybertruck, and Tesla Semi. On the delivery side, 481,166 were Model 3/Y vehicles, while 15,933 were Other Models.

The automaker also deployed 12.5 GWh of energy storage products in Q3 2025, marking a new record for the category. Tesla continues to scale its energy business aggressively, with Megapack production in California and Texas playing a key role, alongside ongoing work on its in-house LFP battery cell efforts at Gigafactory Nevada.
Tesla’s Q3 delivery total surpassed its previous all-time record of 495,570 vehicles, which was set in Q4 2024. The strong performance comes as demand remains resilient in Tesla’s key markets. In China, September sales closed the quarter on a high note, while in the U.S., the September 30 expiry of the $7,500 federal EV tax credit spurred a rush of end-of-quarter deliveries.
Investor confidence has also been on the rise. Tesla shares broke above $450 on Wednesday for the first time in 2025, fueled by bullish sentiment ahead of the delivery report. The stock remains just shy of its all-time high of $488.54.
“Thank you to all our customers, employees, suppliers, shareholders and supporters who helped us achieve these results,” Tesla said in its press release.
Tesla will post its full Q3 2025 financial results after market close on Wednesday, October 22, followed by a live Q&A webcast with Elon Musk and other executives. Stay tuned for our coverage of Tesla’s Q3 2025 earnings report when it drops later this month.
