Tesla Diner Launch Confirmed: Save the Date

Tesla has officially set the stage for the launch of its new Hollywood Diner and Supercharger, set to open to the public on Monday, July 21. Located along Santa Monica Boulevard between Highland and La Brea in the heart of the Hollywood Media District, the site blends drive-in nostalgia with futuristic charging convenience. It began construction almost two years ago in September 2023, and it appears Tesla has taken care to craft an experience worth the anticipation.

As first spotted in the Tesla app days ago, the long-awaited diner slate is now locked in. The app listing and early visitors confirmed 80 V4 Supercharger stalls, a full drive-in movie theatre equipped with two 45-foot LED screens, and, best of all, synchronized audio streaming directly through your Tesla’s speakers. That night-out atmosphere? It’s fully immersive — whenever a Tesla connects to the Diner’s Wi-Fi, a Tesla Diner app appears on the in-car screen, allowing movies and audio to sync seamlessly.

Beyond the tech, the menu screams classic Americana with a Tesla twist: burgers, hot dogs, fries, chicken wings, sandwiches, cane sugar soda, and indulgent hand‑spun milkshakes (along with pie shake upgrades). Orders are placed through the Tesla Diner app, right from the comfort of your vehicle. Meals are served in charming paper Cybertruck‑shaped boxes, a playful nod to Tesla’s brand, and there’s even exclusive merch available on-site — like an all-black Tesla Bot action figure and other branded gear.

Inside, even the restrooms feel cinematic, featuring a ceiling window looking down on Earth, giving visitors the sensation of being in space — a neat addition befitting the retro-futuristic theme. The Tesla Diner soft-launched recently, and with the app confirmation and diner details now public, the grand opening looks poised to be epic.
