Starship Flight 10 Launch Date Pegged for Late June: FAA

SpaceX’s next big leap with Starship may be just around the corner. According to a newly released FAA airspace operations advisory, Starship Flight 10 (FLT-10) is currently targeting a June 29th launch date from the company’s Starbase facility in Boca Chica, Texas (via @SawyerMerritt).

The advisory, which outlines planned aerospace activity, lists the primary launch window for Starship FLT-10 as June 29, 2025, from 23:30Z to 01:34Z, or approximately 7:30 p.m. to 9:34 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. to 6:34 p.m. PT. A backup launch opportunity is scheduled for June 30 during the same time window.

This would mark the tenth integrated flight test of Starship, SpaceX’s fully reusable super heavy-lift rocket and the centrepiece of its Mars ambitions and NASA’s Artemis program. The previous test flight, FLT-9, took off on May 27 and showed continued progress toward full orbital flight and reusability goals despite losing both stages of the spacecraft.

While the FAA advisory doesn’t confirm launch approval (SpaceX still requires a formal FAA launch license), it strongly suggests that flight preparations are in an advanced stage. A June 29 launch would represent an impressive 34-day turnaround from the last flight, a massive leap from the previous 100+ day gaps.

Also listed in the same FAA update are other upcoming missions, including Axiom 4 from Kennedy Space Center, Transporter 14 from Vandenberg, and Blue Origin’s NS-33 flight from West Texas — all part of a busy late-June launch schedule across multiple providers.

As with all Starship flights, expect livestream coverage and a close eye on performance benchmarks. SpaceX hasn’t officially confirmed the date, but the company is deep into preparations for its tenth Starship flight test. On Tuesday, SpaceX’s official X account shared footage of a single-engine static fire demonstrating an in-space burn.

With FAA planning in place, all signs currently point to a late-June liftoff for what could be another milestone in SpaceX’s path to full-stack reusability.
