Tesla’s Cybertruck was the bestselling electric pickup truck in the U.S. in 2024, according to the company.
While we don’t have exact sales figures from Tesla, it aligns with what we saw from Cox Automotive’s Kelley Blue Book this week, which had the Model Y as the bestselling EV in the U.S., followed by the Model 3. The Mustang Mach-E was third and Hyundai Ioniq 5 was in fourth place.

In fifth place was the Cybertruck, followed by the Ford F-150 Lightning in sixth place. These were the only trucks in the top 10 list.
Now, Tesla has discounted existing Cybertruck inventory, depending on location in the USA. We’re seeing savings of $1,600 off a new Cybertruck AWD, priced at $78,390 (normally $79,990 US).
If you want an AWD demo, it is even cheaper, available for $77,360 for example, which is $2,630 off the regular retail price.
If you buy a Cybertruck with a referral code, you can save an extra $1,000 off.
With January usually a slow month for car sales, this discount on existing Cybertruck inventory is not bad, if you can find one in your area and have the wallet to afford it.
