Tesla is now offering free Supercharging to customers who purchase a new Cybertruck Foundation Series, with the promotion applying to orders placed on or after December 27, 2024, from existing inventory.
The free Supercharging benefit will last for the duration of vehicle ownership, but there are important conditions to consider. It’s too bad this free perk wasn’t given to the first buyers of the limited-edition Foundation Series Cybertruck.
The offer is tied to the original Tesla account and cannot be transferred to another vehicle, person, or order, even if the vehicle is sold. It also excludes used vehicles, business orders, and those used for commercial purposes such as taxis, rideshares, or delivery services.
While charging at Superchargers will be free, owners will still be responsible for other related fees, such as idle or congestion charges, if applicable.
Tesla has reserved the right to remove the free Supercharging benefit in cases of excessive charging or unpaid fees. The company also notes that the promotion is subject to change or cancellation at any time.
With most people charging at home, this free Supercharging perk is great if you take a lot of road trips.
This new offer provides an added incentive for Cybertruck buyers and is part of its push to sell more vehicles before the end of the year, with just days to go.
