There’s nothing better than slapping on some fresh wiper blade replacements if you live in a climate that has a rainy season or winter.
For those living in the Pacific Northwest of North America, it rains a lot in Canada and the US around here.
Getting replacement Model Y wiper blades from Tesla will cost you $25 US (or $38 in Canada) each. That means $50 US or $72 CAD.
But what about a third-party wiper blade that fits and works exactly the same? We were on the hunt for our Model Y and after research online, the Bosch Aerotwin A621S is the exact same spec as Tesla’s wiper blades. And I mean the exact same.
The Bosch Aerotwin A621S (part #3397014621) comes with a 26” (650 mm) blade for the driver’s side and 20” blade (500mm) for the passenger side.
They slide into the existing Model Y wiper blade without changing any clips or anything. Each package comes with two blades.

We ordered a few sets from an online retailer in our area (Parts Avatar in Canada) to qualify for free shipping.
At the end of the day, the Bosch Aerotwin set cost $35.67 CAD for two wiper blades. Tesla charges $38 CAD for just one blade. So we’re looking at more than 50% off savings here.
The installation was so easy that we forgot to snap pictures comparing the Tesla blade to the Bosch Aerotwin (the swap was so easy we just tossed the original blades into the trash). But we can tell you they are the exact same blades and they are wiping the front glass cleanly and perfectly, just like OEM.
So there you have it…buy third-party wiper blades and save some cash!
