Ashok Elluswamy, Tesla’s head of Autopilot and AI, announced today that Full Self-Driving v13.2.1 is rolling out wide to Hardware 4 (HW4), or AI4 customers, with software update 2024.39.15.
Elluswamy also noted that the Tesla Holiday Update is also coming “within a week” for AI4 customers.
What about Hardware 3 (AI3) customers? The Tesla executive said, “team’s working on a much updated v12.6 for AI3 customers by end of this year.” He didn’t comment on whether FSD 13 is coming to AI3 or not. Many AI3 customers are awaiting the next FSD update; hopefully both branches can merge, despite older AI3 hardware.
“Merry Christmas,” concluded Elluswamy.
The Tesla team has been firing on all cylinders, rolling out non-stop software updates and FSD updates. Can’t wait to see what’s next in store.
