Tesla’s ‘Levitating Cybertruck’ Model Sells Out Quickly
Late last week, Tesla fans snapped up the new Levitating Cybertruck, a collector’s edition 1:24 scale model, priced at $250 USD ($345 CAD).
The miniature Cybertruck floats above a magnetic base, appearing to defy gravity. Tesla has announced the item is currently out of stock, but customers can sign up to be notified when it becomes available again.
The model is designed to replicate the futuristic look of the full-size Cybertruck, featuring silver-coated detailing and functional headlights and taillights (controlled by pressing a button on the base). It can remain motionless or rotate when given a gentle tap.
Product Details
- Cybertruck Dimensions: 8.98” x 3.28” x 2.36”
- Base Dimensions: 6.14” x 6.14” x 1.28”
- Weight: Cybertruck weighs 0.65 lbs, base weighs 2.85 lbs
- Includes: Magnetic levitation base with Type C charging cable, AC adapter, and 14 built-in LEDs
The levitation feature works by positioning the Cybertruck directly above the powered base, using magnets to suspend it mid-air. It requires careful balancing for setup but provides a striking display once in place.
Tesla says the model is not suitable for children under 14 due to small parts and is not recommended for anyone with a pacemaker. Also, Tesla notes that orders for the Levitating Cybertruck may not arrive before the end of the year.
This thing is so darn cool it sold out in minutes. Get ready for the next batch coming in hot soon! This of course will make any Cybertruck fan happy and would look so neat on your desk at the office.
