Lucid Opens Orders for Luxury Gravity SUV from $95,000
Lucid Motors has officially opened pre-orders for its luxury SUV, the Lucid Gravity, starting from $94,900 US for the Grand Touring trim.
The Gravity has a projected range of over 440 miles per charge.
The Lucid Gravity has seating configurations for up to seven people and 120 cubic feet of cargo space. Additional features include customizable interior themes and options for refined sustainable materials. The exterior offers a choice between a sleek “Stealth” look or a bold “Platinum” finish, along with wheels that range from 20 to 23 inches.
The SUV is packed with performance, including up to 828 horsepower and a tight turning radius, allowing it to handle like a sports car. Fast charging capabilities allow for 200 miles of range in just 15 minutes. You can set up Lucid’s Connected Home Charging Station for charging at home.
Safety and user experience are included with Lucid’s DreamDrive system providing advanced driver-assistance features, alongside customizable climate zones, a Dolby Atmos sound system, and ambient lighting inspired by iconic California landscapes.
Initial reaction to pre-orders? Lucid is charging for things that should be free for its top trim for the Gravity. Car reviewer Kyle Conner said, “Lots of little options that should be standard. No lane centering as standard? Heated steering wheel bundled into a $2,500 pack with a bunch of other stuff?”. He shows it would cost $122,450 US to get all the upgrades. Ouch.
“I don’t know… I was hoping for more standard equipment and a flat offer structure,” said Conner.
Lucid Gravity orders are open now for the Grand Touring model, while the Touring trim will be available in late 2025 at a starting price of $79,900 US.
